Southern District National Day eSports Carnival
To further promote eSports culture and allow the public to know more about Hong Kong eSports in an interactive way, the Organising Committee for the Celebration of the 69th National Day in the Southern District will organise a “Southern District National Day eSport Carnival” on 23 September.

慶祝中華人民共和國成立69周年系列活動 － 「南區國慶電競嘉年華」
政府有意打造數碼港成為電競地標，數碼港商場將會發展成電競館，為現時正快速發展的電子競技行業提供具象徵性且配備高階設施的電競場地，協助業界系統化地培育電競人才，推動行業發展。
南區慶祝國慶籌備委員會藉國慶日進一步推廣香港電競文化，以趣味性的嘉年華形式讓公眾認識香港電競發展。「南區電競嘉年華」於9月23日舉行，活動內容豐富，邀得多隊職業電競隊及電競KOL參與，包括G-REX Gaming、 屎萊姆、TOYZ、Bella Gor及PandaCute，除公開表演賽外，現場觀眾更有機會與職業電競選手參與對戰。現場有多個互動遊戲區包括電競體驗、懷舊電子遊戲、DrillsVR 虛擬實境遊戲等，歡迎一家大小或對電競有興趣人士到場參與，親身感受電競的吸引力。
當天多位專業電競KOL亦會就電競業發展作多方面分享，題目包括電競人才出路如主播、評述員、分析師、教練等不同崗位，作詳盡介紹；又會分享過往舉辦電競賽事經驗，包括舞台設計、推廣；甚至講解自己成為職業電競選手入行經過等等。
特別交通安排：
大會安排穿梭車服務，在11:30 am- 4pm分別於黃竹坑港鐵站及香港仔南寧街接載前來參與人士往數碼港。

Celebrating the 69th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China
Southern District National Day eSports Carnival
The Hong Kong government will develop the Cyberport into an eSports centre, with the shopping mall turning into an eSports hall, to provide an iconic and well-equipped venue for the rapidly growing e-Sports industry, and to help nurture talents, and assist the development of the industry.
To further promote eSports culture and allow the public to know more about Hong Kong eSports in an interactive way, the Organising Committee for the Celebration of the 69th National Day in the Southern District will organise a “Southern District National Day eSport Carnival” on 23 September. Professional teams and KOLs will showcase their top-notch gaming skills (including G-REX Gaming, Edward Slime, TOYZ, Bella Gor and PandaCute). The audience will also have the opportunity to play against these talents. In addition, there will be interactive games for the public to enjoy the fun, including eSports games, retro electronic games, Drills VR experience, etc. Everyone is welcome to join.
KOLs will share their thoughts and experience on eSports development, career opportunities such as gaming hosts, commentators, analysts, coaches, experience in organising and promoting eSports competitions, as well as how they became professional eSports players.
Special transport arrangement:
Shuttle buses going to Cyberport will be available from 11:30 am – 4 pm at Wong Chuk Hang MTR and Nam Ning Street, Aberdeen.
